Traces of Transition: Hong Kong

Traces of Transition: Hong Kong explores themes of cultural and personal transformation through the lens of my heritage. Centered on the ideas of layering and reconstruction, the project reflects shifting identities and evolving traditions.

Using paper and fabric manipulation alongside digital print and embroidery, I created textured, multi-dimensional surfaces that echo the complexity of transition. These techniques allowed me to physically express fragmentation, rebuilding, and change.

Designed for high-end womenswear, the collection takes inspiration from Shanghai Tang’s Autumn/Winter 2023 line, blending modern elegance with cultural depth.
